History

The Coalition Against Planar Incursion was founded by Professor Clarence Rodman of Oberlin College in 2020. Rodman had been researching extaplanar physics since 2015, including his seminal 2017 paper, "Theo and Max Come Up With Some Physics Technobabble". He was a trailblazer in planar physics research, along with Dr. Peter Plum from Harvard University and Dr. Jennifer Honey from Wormwood College.

In 2020, a tragic lab incident confirmed that interplanar travel is unsustainable and incredibly dangerous. This personal epiphany led Rodman to switch his focus from interplanar travel to protecting our own home plane from extraplanar forces.
